jaguarOver a hundred species of wildlife indigenous to Belize, have found a perfect home at the Belize Zoo which was established over twenty years ago, in the Belize District. Most of the animals that have found a home at the Belize Zoo, were brought there, having been injured either by man, or in some accident, and nursed back to health.

From magnificent Jaguars to Jaguarundi, Margay to Puma, or Ocelot, Otters and Parrots to name a few, make your visit to the Belize Zoo worthwhile. Cameras are welcomed.

Three miles into Belize City, we will stop at “Old Belize”. A museum which captures all of Belize’s history, one will have a clear understanding of what Belize was like. Return to the Harbour View Restaurant for a delicious lunch.
